Bronx residents will soon be eating more chicken as a Chick-fil-A will be opening its doors in Marble Hill.

The new location of the world-famous fast food chain will join 18 other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the city serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has hired 75 employees so far, with 73 of them hailing from the Bronx.

The owner tells News 12 that the restaurant will take action against hunger in the borough and will be honoring 100 local heroes with free entrees for a year in celebration of the grand opening.
