A Ridge man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for shooting a man in the face during a 2022 Middle Island robbery.

Wilfredo Figueroa was pulled over by police following the shooting. They found two loaded guns in his car and items belonging to the victim.

A bullet removed from the victim's neck matched one of Figueroa's illegal guns.
