Police in Franklin Square rescued a cat that recently got its head stuck in a metal fence.
Police say they were called to Floral Park Road to save the cat. Officers at the scene were able to borrow bolt cutters from a nearby school, cut the fence and set the animal free.
The cat was unharmed, according to authorities.
