State police ask for public’s help to find Brewster hit-and-run driver

Troopers say it was a dark colored SUV, possibly a Nissan, that was traveling north on Railroad Avenue, just south of the Brewster train station.

State police are asking the public to help troopers find a car involved in a hit-and-run that left the victim with severe injuries.

Troopers say it happened Sunday in Brewster on Railroad Avenue. A car struck the victim while they were walking in the village between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m.

Troopers say it was a dark colored SUV, possibly a Nissan, that was traveling north on Railroad Avenue, just south of the Brewster train station.

Anyone with possible information regarding the vehicle or operator involved in this crash is asked to please call the New York State Police at Police at 845-677-7300.  Refer to case No. 11632798.
