WEATHER TO WATCH: For Friday and Sunday. Watching the chance for scattered showers and storms bringing locally heavy rainfall. The best chance for widespread rain will be Sunday.

DEW POINTS: Well into the 70's this is about as humid as it gets around Long Island. It will be quite warm and humid through the weekend.

OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy, warm, and humid with lows near 74. Chance for a few showers or a thunderstorm. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:33

FRIDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with the chance for scattered showers and storms in the morning and then again late afternoon. Highs near 83. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Sunset: 8:23

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, warm, and humid. Chance for a passing shower or storm. Most of the night will be dry. Lows near 73.
