In 2003, one of the most well-known vegetable farms on Long Island decided to join the vineyard game.
"The whole entire family was super excited about this new venture, and here we are 20 years later," said Monica Harbes of the sprawling Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck.
Known for its wide variety of vegetables and family entertainment, they also have a tasting room in a barn that's more than 100 years old.
"We found a real niche in hosting families and helping them enjoy the country as much as we do," said Ed Harbes.
