News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says Long Island will see sun and clouds and a pop-up afternoon storm on Monday.

TUESDAY -- INDEPENDENCE DAY: Sun and clouds. Turning hot. Highs in the upper-80s. Lows near 70. 

WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds. Hot with highs near 90. Lows near 70. 

THURSDAY: Staying hot and humid with highs upper 80s, lows near 70. 

FRIDAY: Turning unsettled. Highs in the low-mid 80s, lows in the upper 60s.
