‘They really left an impact on us.’ Tennis fundraiser held in honor of 14-year-olds killed in wrong-way crash
All of the money raised will be donated to a scholarship set up for the Roslyn public school system in the students’ names.

The Roslyn and Port Washington community came together Monday to honor two teen tennis stars who were killed in a wrong-way crash.
A tennis fundraiser was held at Schreiber High School in Port Washington in memory of Ethan Falkowitz and Drew Hassenbein.
The Port Washington tennis team, teachers and staff came out to honor Falkowitz and Hassenbein with the sport they loved most.
Tennis balls with the students’ name on them were used during the tournament.
Players say the 14-year-old nationally-ranked tennis players won’t be forgotten.
“They really left an impact on us,” says junior tennis captain Ezra Loewy. “So, we want to just do even the smallest of things to try and show that we’re here for their families and we love Ethan and Drew.”
The community donated raffle items to raise money for the event.
