A Brooklyn man has been arrested in connection to an attack against a disabled person in East Garden City.
Police say 32-year-old medical aide Paul D. Shorter attacked a physically disabled person in a parking lot on Stewart Avenue on May 10.
Detectives say witnesses saw Shorter yelling, pulling and twisting the victim’s arm as he attempted to force him into a van.
Shorter was arrested on Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn and is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent physically disabled person.
