The former Good Samaritan hospital nurse accused of violently flipping an infant was arraigned Tuesday.

Amanda Burke was formally charged with endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 17.

The charges come a little more than a month after she turned herself into police.

As News 12 first reported, a family member captured the moment on video in February when the 2-day-old baby in the neonatal intensive care unit was roughly mishandled.

Burke, 29, was fired hours later.

She is due back in court on July 7.
