State police: 2 Smithtown residents killed in Ocean Parkway crash
According to state police, troopers responded just before 10:30 a.m. where a “2013 custom assembly convertible left the roadway and struck the guide wire.”

Two Smithtown residents were killed in a car crash Sunday morning while traveling on Ocean Parkway just east of Cedar Beach.
According to state police, troopers responded just before 10:30 a.m. where a “2013 custom assembly convertible left the roadway and struck the guide wire.”
The driver, Daniel Fabrizio, 58, and the passenger, Diane Seghposs, 58, died of injuries sustained at the scene.
State police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 631-756-3300.
It was not immediately clear why the vehicle left the roadway.
