The proposed Nassau Coliseum lease transfer between the Las Vegas Sands and Nassau County will go before the Rules Committee of the county Legislature on Monday.
If it passes, it will be voted on by the full Legislature on May 22.
If the lease transfer is approved, there is no guarantee a casino will be built.
Las Vegas Sands would have to be awarded a gaming license from the state.
