A 2-year-old was struck by a vehicle in the north parking lot of Belmont Lake State Park, New York State Park Police said.
It happened just before 3 p.m.
Parks police said the child was taken by the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Department to Good Samaritan Hospital.
The extent of the child’s injuries and the circumstances behind the crash were not immediately known.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene.
