The bodies of two more victims identified in the collapsed condo building outside Miami had ties to the Jewish community in the Connecticut area.
The bodies of Tzvi and Ingrid "Itty" Ainsworth were recovered from the rubble on Monday.
In a Tweet, Miami-Dade Police wrote, "We have identified two additional victims that sadly and unexpectedly lost their lives in the tragic Surfside building collapse. Please keep their families and loved ones in your prayers."
The post goes on to say that "Itty" was 66 and Tzvi was 68.
The two were close friends with Chabad of Stamford member Leah Shemtov.
News 12 spoke with Shemtov last week following the collapse when the two had been reported missing.
Shemtov says the Jewish community is close-knit and that kindness, empathy and togetherness will get them through this tragedy.
