Two teens attacked another teen as he was walking home from school in Levittown, according to police.

Two 18-year-olds, who are no longer students in the Island Trees School District, have been charged with assault in the second degree. They are accused of punching and kicking a high school student.

Police say the suspects are Anthony Cisneros and Emmett Damp, both from Levittown.

According to court documents, the assault followed an argument at the 17-year-old male victim's home on Monday night.

After seeing the victim leave Island Trees High School on Tuesday afternoon, the suspects then allegedly confronted the victim in the middle school parking lot.

Police say the suspects punched and kicked him in the face and body, causing substantial pain to the victim's wrist and ribs.

Parents in the district are concerned.

“Very shocking, ya know, I’m home in the afternoon. I’ve never seen any behavior like that before,” said Zeina Alvarado.

The suspects pleaded not guilty, and temporary orders of protection were issued.

Both will appear in court again next week.
