2 shoplifting incidents occur at 2 separate BJ's Wholesale Clubs in Suffolk
The Suffolk County Police Department says separate shoplifting incidents took place at two BJ's Wholesale Club stores within a week and caused a loss of thousands of dollars' worth of merchandise.
The first incident took place on Feb. 10 a the BJ's on Nichols Road in Islandia. Police say an unknown person stole about $3,900 worth of Tylenol from the store.
Then, on Feb. 17, an unknown person stole about $2,000 worth of miscellaneous merchandise at the BJ's on Nesconset Highway in Setauket, according to police.
Police could not confirm if the shoplifting incidents were done by the same person.
