News 12 Long Island has learned there have been two shark sightings in Atlantic Beach.
Beachgoers and lifeguards tell News 12 the sightings happened last week and yesterday near the Atlantic Beach Club.
Chief Atlantic Beach lifeguard John Madden said beachgoers should not be scared because it is normal during this time of year due to the water being warmer.
