New video obtained by News 12 shows officers entering an apartment building on West 29th Street in Coney Island and removing a pair of pit bulls from the complex.

The two dogs are accused of mauling a French bulldog inside of the apartment building earlier this month.

Police said the pit bulls’ owner, 30-year-old Elijah Cline, was arrested and charged on Tuesday.

“I’m a little bit more at ease knowing that the dogs are not a threat anymore,” said Diane Bradley, who lives in the building.

As News 12 first reported, Bradley said the same dogs attacked her 3-year-old Frenchie, Calypso.

“It was horrific, horrendous,” said Bradley. “[The pit bulls] grabbed Calypso so quickly and started mauling at her and shaking her around.”

Bradley said Calypso received several stitches, suffered a fractured shoulder and may lose sight in one eye.

“She’s recovering slowly but surely,” said Bradley. “She’s a little shaky still when we take her out.”

Neighbors previously told News 12 that the pair of pit bulls had a history of being off leash and attacking other pets in the building.

Sources told News 12 that the two dogs were found abandoned in Cline’s apartment on Tuesday, and the dogs did not have access to clean water or food.

The pit bulls were transferred to the ASPCA.

Investigators said Cline was arrested but then released. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court next month.

The 30-year-old Brooklyn man is charged with torturing and not feeding his animals, as well as criminal possession of a weapon.

News 12 went to Cline’s apartment on Friday for comment, but there was no answer.

Building management told News 12 that they are in the process of evicting Cline.

Bradley said her family plans on filing a civil lawsuit against Cline.
