Police tell News 12 the incident happened on Sunday morning on Roosevelt Avenue.
Police say the two suspects got into the home through an unlocked garage door.
While they were stealing various items in the house, the homeowner approached them.
The two suspects then escaped through a second-floor window and ran off.
