A fire that tore through a Lido Beach home left two people displaced on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.

Officials say they received a call reporting the blaze on Biarritz Street around 1:59 p.m.

The two residents inside were able to self-evacuate prior to the arrival of fire crews.

Fifty firefighters worked to extinguish the flames in under 20 minutes.

Authorities say the home sustained moderate damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
