Two park rangers for the ATV Task Force suffered minor injuries during an altercation Sunday at a gas station in Medford.

Suffolk police say it started after two ATV's pulled into USA Gas on Route 112.

Detectives say when the park rangers approached the drivers, they refused to step away from their vehicles.

Police say the rangers tried to hold one of the ATV drivers, but he fought to get away, jumped onto the other ATV, and the two men drove away.

The ATV left at the scene was impounded.
