Two MS-13 gang members were sentenced to 50 years to life behind bars for a deadly shooting in Hempstead.

Carlos Flores and Pedro Rivera were found guilty of killing Nelson Rodriguez as he walked home from work in 2017.

Prosecutors say they planned on killing a man in retaliation for assaulting another MS-13 member, but they got the wrong guy.

A third suspect, Hector Lazo, is awaiting sentencing.
