A 10th and 11th person have been charged and accused in the case of missing Patchogue teen.
Rebecca Browell, 46, and 63-year-old Ralph Knowles were arraigned Thursday in court in Central Islip.
Court papers show that Browell, of Brentwood, allegedly gave drugs to an underage girl and is accused of knowing that the girl was a minor and that she was engaging in sexual contact with an adult male.
Police say this happened sometime between Dec. 13 and Jan. 3 at the marina in Islip where the 14-year-old Patchogue girl was found on Jan. 3.
Court paperwork shows Browell believed the victim was 11 years old.
Browell is also facing several drug charges, allegedly selling cocaine and heroin in January and February.
Ralph Knowles, 63 was also arraigned on Friday morning.
He is charged with second-degree attempted rape.
He’s accused of engaging in sexual contact with a teenage victim at the marina in Islip.
He is also accused of forcible touching and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Court papers show both Knowles and Browell live at the same address in Brentwood and were arrested Thursday after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover police officer.
News 12 spoke with Browell’s lawyer after the arraignment.
“What the exact relationship between the parties is right now, don’t know just yet. That’s one of the things that’s going to get ironed out," said Pierre Bazile, Browell's defense attorney.
As News 12 has reported, others arrested in connection with the teen are facing charges of sex trafficking, rape and kidnapping.
