Two men were shot in Central Islip overnight, police say.
The shots rang out shortly before midnight on Rosewood Street. Police say two suspects walked up a group of people who were standing outside and one of the suspects opened fire.
Two male victims were struck and were taken to Southside Hospital. One of them, a 36-year-old male, was treated for a graze wound and later released. The other, a 22-year-old male, is being treated for unspecified injuries.
Neighbors tell News 12 the house where the shooting occurred is known for drug activity and prostitution.
The victims' identities were not released.
