Two Long Island towns placed in the top 50 in Money magazine's 2016 list of the best places to live in the U.S.
Oyster Bay placed at No. 34, owing to its seashore access, small-community feeling, proximity to New York City, job growth and economic opportunity.
Huntington placed at No. 39. The magazine noted its "storybook landscape," economic growth and accessibility to the Long Island Rail Road.
Columbia, Maryland, placed at No. 1 on the list this year.
Money magazine says it looked at a wide variety of factors to determine its rankings, including home prices, cultural diversity, crime, economic growth, health care accessibility and more.
