Forbes Travel Guide has announced its 2019 Star Award winners, and two Long Island hotels are on the list.

Making the cut were The Garden City Hotel and the Topping Rose Hotel in Bridgehampton.

The 61st annual list features four and five-star hotels and restaurants from around the world.

Results are determined by inspectors checking in as regular guests and evaluating every little detail.
