Two people had to be rescued from a jet ski in Nassau County on Tuesday night.

Police received a 911 call for a jet skier in distress around 8:30 p.m. near Little Goose Island in Massapequa.

A Nassau police helicopter, marine bureau, and Town of Oyster Bay Constables responded to the water emergency.

Nassau Aviation Helicopter 6 used their spotlight to find the 2024 Sea Doo jet ski with two males onboard.

The jet ski had hit the ground and became disabled, according to police.

The individuals were not hurt and safely taken to the Treasure Island Marina, along with their jet ski.
