Officials are on the scene of a fire at a multi-unit residential dwelling in Dix Hills.

Officers responded to a 911 report of the fire at the home on Deer Park Avenue around 4:19 a.m.

According to officials, two adult occupants of the building were transported to a hospital for minor injuries. 

Arson detectives are investigating the cause of the fire.

As of now, Deer Park Avenue is closed at Wolf Hill Road.
