2 bullets found inside main office at West Babylon High School

Two bullets were found in the main office at West Babylon High School Monday morning.
Police say the discovery was called in around 9 a.m. It was not immediately clear how the bullets got there.
Dr. Ellice Vassallo, the school’s principal, sent out an email saying in part: “No firearms have been recovered, and there is no indication that a firearm was possessed on school property. However, the incident remains under investigation."
She told News 12 that some students were questioned and some lockers were inspected as part of the investigation.
Some students told News 12 that new safety protocols have been put into place this year and a drill was conducted just last week.
