Residents displaced after serious house fire in Spring Valley

Two Bridgeport firefighters suffered minor injuries during a Sunday afternoon fire, according to officials.

It happened at the old Bodine building on Mountain Grove Street.

Firefighters say it started in a van in the building and they were quickly able to get the flames under control.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Sunday night.
