2 accused in South Farmingdale machete attack

Officials say two Deer Park residents were arrested Thursday morning for allegedly attacking a man with a machete.
The incident happened at a parking lot in South Farmingdale.
Police say Mark Walker and Taneshia Marshall got into a fight with the victim and then slashed him in the back.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Both Walker and Marshall are charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
