Saturday's rain didn't faze those who turned out for the Charles Dickens Festival in Port Jefferson.
The 19th annual festival featured yuletide singers in front of the Island Christian Church. Most of the merry street people say they have been making their own costumes since it began in 1995.
Attendees created magnificent leather pictures at artisan square, just like was done during Dickens' time.
There was also candlestick and gingerbread making, as well as Santa's workshop.
