14-year-old Bridgeport baseball champ heads to Bahamas to represent US in Babe Ruth championship

A 14-year-old baseball player from Bridgeport known as "Late Night Lorenzo" made national news with his amazing skill as a home run hitter, and now he is heading to the Caribbean for the 2023 Babe Ruth championship.



Lorenzo will soon be representing The Metropolitan Junior Baseball League, the City of Bridgeport and the U.S. when he heads to the Caribbean this July for the 2023 Babe Ruth championship, competing with older kids as he shows off his skill as a power hitter.



Coach Jimmy Meszoros says he’ll be traveling to the Bahamas with Lorenzo and 13 other players from all over the U.S.
