The newly formed Firearms Suppression Team in Suffolk seized weapons, drugs and cash in a takedown of 13 alleged gang members in North Amityville.
FAST has been conducting raids in the area over the last several days.
Authorities say eight people were arrested at 90 East Smith St. on Wednesday where they confiscated guns, ammunition, drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash.
A search warrant was also executed Friday morning at 58 Miller Ave. where five people were arrested.
Suffolk Commissioner Tim Sini says the FAST team is putting extra pressure on gang members in North Amityville and other Suffolk communities in an effort to reduce crime.
Sini says the alleged gang members belonged to the No Beef Chase Chicken gang and another group named Swerve.
