A Suffolk house fire has left nearly a dozen Long Islanders homeless on Thanksgiving Day.

Flames were pouring from the windows of a home in Wyandanch yesterday afternoon.

The fire broke out at around 2 p.m. on Washington Avenue.

Officials say 11 people from four families lived in the house, according to Newsday.

It is not clear what caused the blaze.
