A Long Island toddler who was delivered in an ambulance last year marked her first birthday inside the very same emergency vehicle on Saturday.
Makaley Murphy's mother, Gina Murphy, went into labor as she and her husband were on their way to the hospital.
The couple called 911 and the Farmingdale Fire Department's Rescue Squad jumped into action.
Firefighter Phil LoNigro delivered Makaley less than 10 minutes later.
The family and LoNigro were reunited for Makaley's first birthday in the same ambulance where she entered the world.
That ambulance now has a stork with Muphy's birthday date on the side of it.
