1 killed, 1 injured in Melville LIE crash
A Coram man is grieving the loss of his step-father after a bad crash on the Long Island Expressway. Police tell News 12 Rafael Ortiz, 57, veered off the road just before 7:30 p.m. last night.

A Coram man is grieving the loss of his step-father after a bad crash on the Long Island Expressway.
Police tell News 12 Rafael Ortiz, 57, veered off the road just before 7:30 p.m. last night.
Ortiz hit a pole in the westbound lanes near exit 50 in Melville.
Ortiz was not seriously hurt, but his step-father Dominic Bottiglieri, 83, of Coram, was killed in the crash.
It is not clear why Ortiz lost control.
