Summer is around the corner and many will be heading to the beach this weekend!

At Jones Beach there's an incredible adventure before you even get to the sand.

News 12’s Erin Colton visits WildPlay in this week's Road Trip: Close to home.

The zip line is one of the highlights of the attraction and launches you from a platform high over the sky, the beach and takes you on a 700-foot ride.

Besides the thrills, WildPlay is an amazing way to see the beach like you have never seen it before.

There’s also adventure courses, platforms to walk across, tight ropes, rope swings and bridges.

The difficulty level of the courses go from classic up to an extreme course.

There is also a kids course that goes up about 15 feet.
