A Wyandanch woman accused of abusing her pit bull and resisting arrest is facing multiple charges, according to the Suffolk SPCA.

Officials say 37-year-old Jasmine Petro’s dog, Yeezy, suffered chronic malnutrition due to neglect.

They say Petro also injured an SPCA detective while resisting their attempts to take her into custody.

The dog has since been taken to an animal shelter in Babylon and has increased his weight enough to be adopted.
