A crash involving multiple vehicles left a woman seriously injured Sunday in Middle Island.

Police say Lilian Jimenez‑Rodriguez was driving along Rocky Point Road when a driver struck her at the Middle Country Road intersection around 12:45 p.m. Her car spun out and hit another vehicle.

The 49‑year‑old Medford woman was hospitalized for treatment, according to authorities.

The other two drivers involved were also hurt, along with two passengers. They are expected to be OK.
