(11/12/07) LEVITTOWN (AP) - A woman returning from her birthday party was killed when the car she was riding in collided with another car in Levittown.

Nassau County Police say 62-year-old Virginia Casazza Urgo of Valley Stream was pronounced dead at the scene on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown at 2:30 yesterday morning. Urgo's husband and sister were critically injured. Police say the other driver - 20-year-old Sophia Santos of Albertson - is charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter. Police say 53-year-old Linda Chapman of Levittown and 53-year-old John Urgo of Valley Stream were both admitted to the Nassau University Medical Center in critical condition. Another passenger - 56-year-old William Clarkin of Mineola was treated and released for his injuries. the driver of their car ? Nancy Tumminello was also treated and released for her injuries.
