(12/10/07) MASSAPEQUA - The dead woman found floating face-down in a Nassau County creek Saturday has been identified as 46-year-old Yvonne Boykin of Massapequa. A dog walker discovered the body dressed in green sweat pants and a blue shirt along the banks of Narraskatuck Creek in Massapequa. Nassau County police say it does not appear the body was in the water long and there are no signs of trauma. Family members say Boykin suffered from multiple sclerosis and could barely walk and speak. She lived within walking distance of the creek. The medical examiner's office will determine how the woman died. Police do not suspect foul play.This story was written using Associated Press reports.
