Woman critically injured in Shirley crash

Authorities say Dawn Marie Martino was traveling east on Flower Hill Drive when her SUV was struck by a Jeep at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway.

A two-vehicle crash left a woman critically injured early Monday morning in Shirley, according to police.

Authorities say Dawn Marie Martino was traveling east on Flower Hill Drive when her SUV was struck by a Jeep around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway.

The 56-year-old was rushed to NYU Langone-Suffolk in Patchogue for treatment.

Police say the driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries.
