Suffolk County police arrested a Setauket woman in connection with the fatal stabbing of her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Millwater, at the Stony Brook Yacht Club earlier this month.

Kacy Corso, 33, is charged with one count of second-degree murder and was arraigned on Thursday morning.

Officials responded to the Stony Brook Yacht Club at 21 Shore Roadjust before 4 a.m. That's where officials said they found Christopher Millwater, 52, injured on the ground.

Millwater was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died.

Prosecutors say Corso and her current boyfriend, Victor Panebianco, went to the yacht club on Nov. 10 knowing Millwater would be there.

Court documents say Corso used her car to block Millwater from leaving and then crashed into his vehicle.

Prosecutors say Panebianco stabbed Millwater multiple times.

Officials say the couple fled the state.

Panebianco was arrested in North Carolina and Corso was arrested by Suffolk County police.

Corso's attorney had no comment after the arraignment and said he wanted to talk with his client first.

Millwater's family was in the courtroom today. Many of them were emotional.

"My concern is justice for my brother," says Christopher Millwater's sister Corinne Millwater. "My brother was an outstanding man. He showed up for everybody, everyone in need. It was a simple phone call, a text, he was there."

"We knew some of the details. We learned a little bit more in the courtroom," says Christoper's nephew, Chase Millwater. "We are going to continue to fight until justice has fully been served and under no circumstances are we going to let anybody try to get away with this."

Corso was denied bail and will remain in custody.

Panebianco is in North Carolina and officials are working on extraditing him to Suffolk County.
