Police say a Farmingdale woman preyed on mourners by stealing items from their cars while they were visiting cemeteries.
Tiffany Radford, 30, is accused of stealing money and items multiple times from cars parked at two cemeteries.  Investigators say she targeted cars parked at St. Charles Cemetery on Wellwood Avenue in Farmingdale four times between April and July.
In addition, she’s accused of stealing from cars at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.

Radford's neighbors were stunned to hear about the accusations.
"Always a great kid, she used to baby-sit my daughter, and my children all the time," said neighbor Tom Hess. "So unless there is something financial or something I just, it's out of her character that really is."
Suffolk police say Radford was stealing from the cars to fuel her heroin addiction.
Radford was arrested on Aug. 6. Investigators are looking for additional victims and are asking people to come forward with information. They urge anyone who thinks they can help with the case to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
