William Floyd Diner in Shirley is giving back for the holiday season.
The diner put up a sign asking for people to pay it forward by donating a certain amount of money of a meal to someone who cannot afford it.
On Wednesday, six meals were paid for and on Thursday, it doubled to 13.
That accounts for nearly $500 worth of meals.
