Are you looking to get tested for COVID-19?
It's especially important to get tested if:
1. You have COVID-19 symptoms after being exposed, even if you are fully vaccinated or recently recovered from COVID-19 in the last 3 months.
2. You have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
3. You were recently in a large gathering where social distancing was hard to maintain or a crowded indoor setting and are not fully vaccinated or recently recovered.
NOTE: If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please call the testing site before you go for testing, health care providers say.
Below is a list of where you can get tested:
HOME TESTS
COVID-19 self-tests (also referred to as home tests or over-the-counter tests) are one of many risk-reduction measures, along with vaccination, masking, and physical distancing, that protect you and others by reducing the chances of spreading the coronavirus, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says.
Rapid tests are available at pharmacies nationwide.
On Dec. 21, President Joe Biden announced that the government would provide 500 million free rapid tests, click here for more information. The tests will be delivered to residents who request one online starting in January.
