TROPICS: Hurricane Lee is still expected to pass east of Long Island Friday into Saturday with large waves, rip currents and some flooding during times of high tide later in the week. On Saturday clouds and showers from the outer bands of the storm could reach the East End.

We continue to monitor Lee’s track for changes and potential impacts. The storm still looks well offshore with no major direct impact. Coastal impacts are possible - including rip currents and possible beach erosion.
HUMIDITY: Remains high through Wednesday with the next round of rain. Drier, cooler, comfortable weather arrives by Thursday.
News 12 Storm Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will be warm and humid Tuesday before rain returns Wednesday.
