A Westbury congregation is wrapping up its Feast of Assumption festivities this weekend.
The five-day festival kicked off Wednesday in the parking lot of St. Brigid's Catholic Church.
The church's Dell'Assunta Society hosted the event that featured a lot of home-made Italian food.
Two attendees told News 12 the festival is a long-standing tradition in their family.
"Our grandparents were charter members of the Dell'Assunta and past presidents when they came from Italy," said Robin Roberts, of Westbury.
"We've been coming since we were little kids. Our grandfather used to be the auctioneer. He would be on that stage," said Joe Iannucci, also of Westbury.
