Voters in West Hempstead and Wainscott hit the polls again Tuesday for a school budget re-vote.
As News 12 has reported, the two districts were the only ones on Long Island that failed to pass the first time around last month.
The West Hempstead ballot passed with 1,989 yes votes and 1,670 no votes.
However, in Wainscott the budget was rolled back, and it failed again.
There were 79 yes votes and 67 no votes on the revote, but it failed to get the 60% supermajority needed to pass due to piercing tax levy cap.
Representatives for the school say they do not know what their next steps will be at this time.
